About Postgraduate Conferences & Symposia
Art History amd Cinema Studies annually hosts 2 postgraduate conferences and symposia. Postgraduate students have been holding symposia and conferences since 2001 to showcase the range and depth of postgraduate research conducted in the School, to foster dialogue between disciplines, and to reach out to the wider academic community.
The Annual Postgraduate Symposium is usually held first semester. This one-day symposium is usually comprised of 3-5 sessions and showcases postgraduate research-in-progress.
The Annual Postgraduate Conference is usually held second semester, this larger conference is usually comprised of 10-12 sessions and features a notable keynote speaker.
